Application: The modules have changed my view of leadership. Should I be a leader at any capacity, I have the knowledge to apply the relevant leadership style best suited for the setting. I can apply transformational leadership when the participation of the people and their contributions are required. By involving the people in the decision making process, they own the task at hand and feel an obligation to accomplish it.
When transactional leadership is applied later on, they won’t feel as if being put under pressure, but they would take it as a reminder to fulfill what they committed themselves to. When my company seeks to hire new workers, I have the knowledge to assess the best skills needed for the job. As such, I can design a selection procedure or choose an existing strategy that would undoubtedly deliver the candidate of choice for the appointment.
