Decline in Top Line
The bank declared in 2006 that its top line revenues for the year had declines. This presents that the revenue sources for the bank have reduced as well as the noninterest revenues. This effects the bottom-line growth of the company in the industry in the long term.
The Citibank has a long history of investigation and litigation which have been conducted against it. Aside from this its involvement in controversies has also given it a considerable weakness in terms of integrity and reputation of the brand.
