The second kind of conflict is intragroup emotional conflict which means that there are conflicts regarding interpersonal relationships where tasks are not considered. For instance, there can be conflicts when one employee resorts to a diplomatic approach to communication and the other person is more upfront and an aggressive communicator.
How to Manage Conflicts
There is a requirement of managing and then preventing such conflicts at workplace as they promote dissatisfaction among employees. For this purpose the employees should be trained properly regarding this problem and should receive conflict management workshops. This could allow them to use proper communication and listening, and efficient response loops which would allow for development instead of erroneous results. In case there is no possibility of any resolution of the conflicts the manager or boss could dissolve the group for prevention of any more problems or a decrease in productivity.
