Therefore there is a need to find viable solutions that will improve the attendance rates of the students in state ofHawaii, specifically inMolokai. This will address steps and measures that the parents, school authorities can take in addition to the existing Acts, regulations and programs to increase the attendance of school.
Rationale
It is important that stake holders in education realize that handling attendance rates early is prevention to other education problems. It is undeniable that missing out of school and classes is a prerequisite to dropping out of school and engaging in delinquent behavior. Often students will miss school fro various reason that pertain to hard subjects, failure, harsh teacher, peer pressure, and pure boredom. In order to improve the attendance in school, stake holders need to address these issues as they find solutions to the improvement of attendance rates.
