Self-disclosure is an act of revealing oneself to others either deliberately or accidental. It has a lot of implications in the lives of people some of which can either be constructive or destructive. For instance it is through self disclosure that we learn other people’s strengths and weaknesses, feelings, and attitude.
With such revelations the society is able to live in a harmonious way. Other insensitive persons though, apply such disclosures as a platform for their self interest hurting other people’s feelings and even harming them.
On my part, internalizing this objective sets me with skills required to learn a healthy business in future; how to learn customers’ needs, how to understand the psychology of my employees and those of my peers.
